Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for setting the division number of copies of a sheet bundle and a sheet bundle storage apparatus in which the containment performance of the sheet bundle storage apparatus is maximized, and the division number of copies according to the attribute of the sheet bundle can be set accurately without being affected by the attribute of the sheet bundle.SOLUTION: A control unit 80 comprises: the division number of copies calculation unit 84 for calculating the division number of copies according to the attribute (e.g., thickness, weight) of a sheet bundle 28; the division number of copies modification calculation unit 88 for performing an operation to correct the division number of copies calculated by the division number of copies calculation unit 84; and the division number of copies setting unit 90 for setting the division number of copies based on data representing the division number of copies from the division number of copies calculation unit 84 and the division number of copies modification calculation unit 88. The division number of copies calculation unit 84 calculates the division number of copies N(=Z/D1) (D1 is a value of the thickness of the sheet bundle 28, and Z is a target height).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
