To provide a device for simulation of radio wave communication environment enabling training by using three or more sets of actual radio transceivers and an operation without emission of radio waves in the atmosphere.
An operation control section 21 sets and displays scenarios for a communication operation. A communication item input output device 621 is used for displaying training conditions and for inputting communication conditions. Also, communication frequencies and methods for outputting and modulating, etc., are set by an actual radio transceiver 611. A simulated atmosphere control section 24 calculates radio wave propagation losses between radio transceivers on the basis of the training conditions and the communication conditions, and sets a variable attenuator for a simulated atmosphere 25. Since communications between the transceivers are made through the atmosphere 25, the radio waves are never emitted in the atmosphere. Further, a signal analyzer monitors the output from each transceiver and radio wave noises, etc., are controlled on the basis of monitoring results.
