Title:
DEVICE FOR SORTING FINE PARTICLE IN FLUID
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008104927
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a fine particle sorting device which selectively recovers fine particles contained in a fluid, or selectively recovers a fluid from which fine particles have been removed.

The fine particle sorting device comprises a flow channel 20b through which a fluid flows, a fine particle monitoring mechanism for predicting the path of the fine particles in the fluid, and a nozzle 17 for selectively recovering the fine particles, or selectively recovering the fluid while avoiding the fine particles from the prediction by the fine particle monitoring mechanism. When image analysis by the fine particle monitoring mechanism shows that a bubble comes near to the tip end of the suction nozzle 17, a pump 14 is stopped so as not to suck the bubble from the suction nozzle 17. After the bubble passes the tip end of the nozzle and the possibility of sucking the bubble disappears, the pump 14 is actuated to suck the fluid again.
