To provide a device allowing the visually impaired to safely walk by oneself.

The device for supporting and guiding walking of the visually impaired is provided. An LED attached to a white cane and a device 2 for emitting a signal tone are combined. The LED is attached to the white cane not for illuminating the foot for walking of a self but for notifying a person and a bicycle coming toward the self of the presence of the walking person. Positions where the LED are attached are parts separated 12 cm from a tip in contact with the ground and from an end of a grip held in the hand respectively, and six miniature bulbs are disposed thereon along the length of 10 cm to emit light respectively.
