PURPOSE: To prevent a visual field range from being drastically deviated in a vertical direction in accordance with eye's position in the case of narrowing the visual field range of a finder by mask plates cooperatively with a switching operation of narrowing a photographing range.

CONSTITUTION: When a control lever 3 is switched between a panoramic photographing position and a standard photographing position, upper and lower light shielding plates 85 and 86 are rotated between a panoramic position where an exposure screen is demarcated to a panoramic size in front of an aperture and a retreat position retreated outside from the photographic optical path of a photographic lens 5, and also, the upper and lower mask plates 76 and 77 for the mechanism for switching the visual field range are rotated cooperatively with the rotation of the plates 85 and 86. The width of the visual range of the finder in the vertical direction is limited to a standard visual field range by the upper and lower mask plates 76 and 77 lying on a position near the front side of an objective lens, and also, the width of the visual field range of the finder in the vertical direction is limited to the narrowed one, that is, to the panoramic visual field range by the mask plates 76 and 77 lying on a position shifted from the objective lens to an object side.
