Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently get access to all string paths in the feeding and pulling mechanisms by a method wherein when a latch means is released, a main access cover and a first feeding means are constituted in such a manner that they can pivotally move from a closed operation location to an opened access location.
SOLUTION: A main access cover 1 is pivotally movably attached to the frame of a packaging machine with hinges at two points being adjacent to the lower edge part of the main access cover 1. The main access cover 1 ends at an access cover guide 18 which guides a string around a first pulling wheel 12. A first feeding wheel 4 being attached to the main access cover, is made rotatable around a feeding wheel lever shaft 6. A feeding wheel lever 5 which is pivotally movably attached, spring-urges the first feeding wheel 4, and firmly presses a string to a second feeding wheel 8 being confronted with. The main access cover 1 keeps the main access cover 1 at a specified location when a spring-urging latch member 9 is at a closed operation location, and moves to an opened location when an external force is applied to a latch handle 17.
