Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for transferring, rotating and processing a cigarette, etc., having a driving mechanism rotating around a supporting axis and a holding trough rotatably supported by the driving mechanism and movable in the region of a working tool in a returning direction opposite to a transfer drum. SOLUTION: This apparatus for a tobacco processing industry transfers a rod-like material such as a cigarette in the lateral axial direction and rotates the material around its longitudinal axis along or within the range of a working tool 6 (especially a laser beam) immovably directed and immovably attached to a transfer drum 1 for holding the material in a holding trough 3. The apparatus is provided with driving mechanisms 9, 12 rotatable around a supporting axis 8 and rotatably supporting the holding through 3 in such a manner as to return the trough within the range of the working toll 6 in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of the transfer drum 1 to obtain the objective apparatus for a tobacco processing industry for transferring a rod-like material in the direction of lateral axis and rotating the material to perform the transfer, rotation and working of a cigarette, etc.
