PURPOSE: To obtain a uniformly worked product having high bending accuracy by providing liftably a movable apron via members for supporting the movable apron.
CONSTITUTION: A device 9 for transmitting the lifting power to an apron 7 is equipped to a hydraulic press brake 1 consisting of main parts such as a frame 3 and upper and lower aprons 5, 7. Lower apron apertures 13 mounted respectively with lifting cylinders 11 are provided near the right and left central parts of the apron 7 and apron supporting members 15 are provided before and after the apertures 13 respectively with said apertures in-between. When pistons 19 are thereupon pushed upward by supplying pressure oil to the cylinders 11, the pushing-up force is bisected and transmitted via the members 21, 15 to pins 25, 25 by which the apron 7 is pushed up from near the bottom end having large rigidity. Stress concentration as inthe prior art is thus obviated and the apron 7 is uniformly deflected. The worked product having high bending accuracy is thus obtd.
