PURPOSE: To separate waste muddy water into supernatant water and sludge, remove most of the moisture, dehydrate the sludge and make solid cakes, by mixing the waste muddy water with a coagulant.
CONSTITUTION: This device comprises a coagulation tank 10 into which fixed quantities of the waste muddy water and the coagulant are supplied from a waste muddy water measuring tank 11 and a primary and secondary coagulant measuring tank 12, a sludge stock tank 20 for separating the muddy water supplied from the tank 10 into the supernatant water and the sludge by keeping the muddy water still for a while, a fixed quantity feeder 30 installed under the tank 20, and a squeezing unit 40 which consists of a pressurizing belt 46 and a mesh conveyor 43 and squeezes the sludge supplied from the fixed quantity feeder 30 to make the cakes. The squeezing unit 40 may be formed in two stages.
