Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve triggering for safety at a fixed point of time by evaluating a physical signal wave shape and an edge wave shape of the start up of the signal during chronological time lapse of a crash of vehicles.
CONSTITUTION: In case of a device built in a vehicle for triggering a passive safety system at the time of a crash, a coefficient can be obtained which gives an impact to enlarge the area that can be evaluated by multiplication and reduction of the integration constant of integrators 14, 15. In a circuit element 11, a weight is given to the zero point of an accelerating signal in connection with a fixed time point to obtain a reduction coefficient Reduz1. In a circuit element 12, a signal is reducing between the time (t) and the time (t+1) by lowering the signal. Individual coefficients are reduced at a differential circuit 13 which is connected to the integrators 14, 15. A reset part 16 is connected to the output terminal of circuit elements 10, 11 for resetting a calculator 5 and an angle evaluation circuit 3.
