Abstract:
To perform generation and efficient irradiation with UVB that cures ultraviolet curing varnish.
A device for ultraviolet irradiation of ultraviolet curing varnish has a discharge tube for irradiating the ultraviolet curing varnish containing a sensitizer and a polymerization initiator with ultraviolet rays to cure the varnish. The ultraviolet irradiation device 10 has a low-voltage discharge tube 12 that generates ultraviolet rays in the UVB wavelength region (280-315 nm) and irradiates the ultraviolet curing varnish to cure it with the ultraviolet rays. Cerium is applied to the inside of the low-voltage discharge tube 12. The low-voltage discharge tube 12 is arranged adjacent to the ultraviolet curing varnish.
