The device for wrapping a flexible print image carrier around a printing form cylinder comprises a first spool for unwinding a print image carrier which is windable onto an outer cylindrical surface of the cylinder, and a second spool for winding up the carrier from the outer cylindrical surface. An only one peripheral opening directed to an inner space is formed on the outer cylindrical surface of the cylinder, and the first and second spools are disposed together in the space. The carrier output from the pace is wrapped on the outer cylindrical surface of the cylinder from the first spool, and wrapped on the second spool from the outer cylindrical surface. In this device, a support 30 for supporting a wrapping mechanism 4 on the print image carrier 3 is disposed to take out the cylinder 1 from the interior of the cylinder 1 in the state that the cylinder 1 is mounted in the machine.
