Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the impossibility of ventilation or trouble for internal control instruments and the like due to the invasion of insects and the like into the main body of a case by a method wherein an invasion preventing mechanism for insects and the like is provided at a ventilating port protected by a protecting cover.
SOLUTION: A protecting cover 18 is attached to protect the circumference of a ventilating port 14, opened on the back surface unit 1c of the main body 1 of a case from the outside thereof. The protecting cover 18 exhausts wet indoor air A downwardly from the ventilation port 14 upon ventilating operation. A plurality of ribs 181 are formed projectingly in the protecting cover 18 whereby an opening unit 23 is intercepted by a ventilation and drying switching damper 24 upon stopping operation or upon drying and heating operation while the invasion of small birds, insects and the like into the main body 1 of the case through the ventilating port 14 can be prevented.
