Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device capable of freely controlling setting of torque and performing an opening/closing action without interfering with a thickness height by integrating a link mechanism and a torque generating mechanism together for reducing the size and using a cam and a spring load.
SOLUTION: The link mechanism is constructed of a fixed base board fixed to a member to be fixed, a freely turnable movable arm pivoted to the fixed base board at one end, a freely turnable mounting base board, which is pivoted to the other end of the movable arm, for a member to be opened/closed, and a link member pivoted to the mounting base board at one end and pivoted to the fixed base board at the other end. The member to be opened/closed fixed in the mounting base board is turned with the freely turnable mounting base board so as to be freely opened/closed and can be moved vertically or longitudinally within a fixed range by means of the link mechanism. The cam turning with the mounting base board is connected to the mounting base board, while a slidable braking member is energized by means of a spring so as to be brought into contact with the cam for setting opening/closing torque and maintaining the opening/closing position.
