Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate quickly the dew condensation with reduced energy consumption, by irradiating a condensed area with infrared rays after detecting the state of dew condensation. CONSTITUTION:A dew condensation sensor 5 is attached to the inner surface of a window glass 1 as a means A to detect the state of condensation. At the same time, an electric infrared-ray heater 7 containing a reflecting plate 6 is provided in the front of the glass 1 as a means B to irradiate the condensed area with infrared rays. When the sensor 5 detects the state of condensation or the possibility of condensation, the heater 7 is energized through a controller 8 serving as a control means C. Then the inside of the glass 1 is directly heated to prevent the condensation.
