PURPOSE: To display a defective part by a display unit through a personal computer at the time of failure of an electronic apparatus so that the part can be seen at a look.
CONSTITUTION: A diagnosing system 1 is constructed of a video camera 2 equipped with a memory 2d for storing operation data of operation check items and of a personal computer 4 which is supplied with diagnosing software 10 and to which the operation data stored in the memory 2d can be inputted by its connection with the video camera 2 through a connecting cable 3. The personal computer 4 has a data call means 5a for calling the operation data (a) stored in the memory 2d, a reference data generating means 5b for outputting reference data (b), a comparing-discriminating means 5c for comparing the called operation data (a) with the reference data (b) and making discrimination as to whether the operation check item is normal or not and a display data preparing means 5d for making the result (c) of discrimination by the comparing-discriminating means 5c be displayed in a liquid crystal display 4b so that it can be observed visually.
