PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing a crop by measuring the amount of reflected light of the crop, equipped with a correcting method capable of not generating a large error caused by measuring positions and differences in planted densities, capable of simply measuring the crop information and improving the accuracy of the measurements.
SOLUTION: This method for diagnosing a crop is provided by measuring the light reflection rates associated with crop information such as a nitrogen content, etc., from the crop of a set area in a field 1 exposed to natural light with a camera 2, in order to obtain the crop information from the reflection rate, obtaining the crop information by using a first crop associated formula set previously to make it first crop information, then irradiating the leaves and stems of the crop of the same area with a light, measuring the amount of reflected light, in order to obtain the crop information from the amount of the light, obtaining the crop information by using a second crop associated formula set previously to make it second crop information, calculating the difference between the first and second crop information to obtain the first crop information from an unknown crop of a set area in the same field, correcting the first crop information based on the above difference and diagnosing the nutrition of the field crop based on the corrected first crop information.
