Abstract:
To provide a diagnostic device and a diagnostic method capable of simply diagnosing a flange connection part.SOLUTION: A diagnostic device (1) comprises: a first piezoelectric element (2) provided on one flange (11); a signal generation unit (4) for applying input signals sweeping in a predetermined first frequency range to the first piezoelectric element (2); a second piezoelectric element (3) that is provided on the other flange (12) and outputs output signals in accordance with vibrations caused by the first piezoelectric element (2); and a calculation unit (6) that calculates a transmission amount on the basis of, the input signals and the output signals and determines a fastening condition of a flange connection part (10) in accordance with a result of the calculation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
