Abstract:
To provide a diagnostic device capable of diagnosing an acceleration sensor with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The diagnostic device includes an acceleration sensor that generates signals representing the acceleration on the basis of electrostatic capacitance between a stationary electrode and a movable electrode. The diagnostic device includes an excitation unit to vibrate the movable electrode at a plurality of different frequencies. The diagnostic device includes a diagnostic unit that diagnoses whether or not the acceleration sensor is normal on the basis of the signals each generated by the acceleration sensor when the movable electrode is vibrated by the excitation unit at the plurality of different frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
