To obtain a dial lock in which a password number for a dial can be changed easily.

In Fig., 10 represents the dial lock by this invention, 1 a lock body, 2 an inverted U shaped engaging lever and 3 a numeric dial (three stages in an example shown). A sleeve integrally operated together with the engaging lever 2 and being capable of being engaged or disengaged with or from the dial 3 in the circumferential direction is combined with the dial 3 and housed in the lock body 1. 5 represents an engaging hole, in which the front end 21 of the engaging lever 2 when the lock is closed is inserted, and is formed to the top face 4 of the lock body 1. The password number is changed by lifting the engaging lever 2 and rotating the dial 3, but a projection 6 is formed near the engaging hole 5 in the top face 4 in this invention, the front end of the engaging lever 2 and the projection 6 are engaged as shown in Fig., and the engaging lever 2 is held to the top face 4, thus easily turning the dial.
