Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely perform a locking/unlocking operation.SOLUTION: A dial lock 10 includes: a knob member 12 which is provided rotatably on the axis of a shaft-like member 19 and slidably to the front and back along an axial direction of the shaft-like member 19; a first rotary body 28 which is so provided for the shaft-like member 19 as to rotate as the knob member 12 rotates and as to allow the knob member 12 to slide; a second rotary body 29 which is so provided for the shaft-like member 19 as to rotate independently of the first rotary body 28 and as to allow the knob member 12 to slide; and engagement members 25, 26 which are so provided as to engage the second rotary body 29 as the knob member 12 slides. The dial lock 10 can be unlocked only by aligning a scale with an index by rotating the knob member 12 in an arbitrary direction at a second position after aligning the scale with the index by rotating the knob member 12 in an arbitrary direction at a first position.
