Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a blood parameter by measuring a parameter on the dialyzing fluid side without direct examination of blood in a blood dialysis process.
SOLUTION: A dialyzed patient's blood parameter determining method includes a step of leading a dialyzing fluid and blood to both sides of at least one membrane of a dialyzer 37, a step of controlling at least one parameter in the dialyzer 37 to approach a predetermined value, and a step of measuring at least one parameter. Regular change is supplied to the parameter in the dialyzer 37, and a constant K is computed every change from the controlled and measured parameter to determine the parameter on the basis of the constant K.
