To provide a structure capable of suppressing peeling of a diamond coating layer from a tool base material.SOLUTION: In a diamond coating tool 3, a flank 20 of a tool base material 1 includes a first flank 21 linked to a tooth point 2, a second flank 23 positioned separately from the tooth point 2 furthermore than the first flank 21, and positioned on the outside furthermore than the first flank as a view from the tool base material inside, and a flank side step part 22 for connecting the first flank 21 to the second flank 23.
