Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the cutting efficiency of a diamond tip saw, by making the front of a setting piece for a diamond tip so as to be tilted forward, while having a coolant solution act on the tip so effective a range.

CONSTITUTION: A diamond tip 2 is secured tight to a U-shaped setting piece 3 which is stuck fast to an endless belt 1 whereby a diamond tip saw is formed in design. A front 4 of the setting piece 3 is formed in a way of filting it toward the front to some extent. The cutting oil poured on to the endless belt 1 moves forward together with the belt 1. The setting piece 3 collides with cutting oil L' at a sawing path 6 and bumped off downward by the front 4. The cutting oil acts on a cutting surface, while the coolant solution brings its substantial effect into full play.
