Abstract:
To obtain a new diazonium salt stable to a light of a specific long wavelength region and useful for a heat sensitive recording material having excellent bio-preservation property and a coloring concentration in a heat recording.
This compound is expressed by the formula (R is an alkyl or an aryl; Y is cyano, an alkylsulfonyl, an arylsulfonyl or the like; X is an anion). The compound may be obtained by diazotizing corresponding aniline by using sodium nitrite, etc., in an acidic solvent and the heat sensitive recording material is obtained by including at least the diazonium salt and coupling component of the formula: E1-CH2-E2 (E1 and E2 are each an electron attractive group) and preferably the compound is included in a microcapsule.
