Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a mold clamping force in response to a pressure for injecting a molten metal without using a complicated control mechanism for adjusting the mold clamping force in a die casting device.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a die casting device 10 including a metal mold 1 including a cavity 1c formed inside, a plunger 2a pressurizing a molten metal 3 and injecting the molten metal 3 into the cavity 1c, comprises: a first piston 4a moving by a casting pressure generated in the molten metal 3 pressurized by the plunger 2c; and a second piston 4c larger in area than the first piston 4a, pressing the metal mold 1 in a mold clamping direction to be interlocked with movement of the first piston 4a.
