Abstract:
PURPOSE: To guarantee the long lasting inhibition of burr generation without causing a significant increase in manufacturing cost.
CONSTITUTION: A cavity 7 is formed by assembling together a first and a second bottom force 3a, 3b, a top force 4, a first and a second intermediate force 5a, 5b and a core force 6 as die components. A border part (p) between the forces facing the cavity 7 is partially tempered. The border part (p) dies not become worn out, if it is repeatedly cleaned using a metal brush, as the hardness of the border part (p) increases. Thus, the burr does not generate because a gap is no longer formed in the border part (p).
