Abstract:
To provide a dielectric antenna that can be made more compact by eliminating the need for extending the length of an antenna electrode even when an inductor L of a matching circuit is increased.
The dielectric antenna 1 is constituted such that the antenna electrode 1b is formed on the front face of a plate-like dielectric body 1a, a ground electrode 3 connected to the antenna electrode 1b is formed on a desired position of a side face of the dielectric body 1a as the inductor L, and a feeding electrode 2 is formed on the rear face opposed to an end 1d of the antenna electrode 1b as a capacitor C to thereby form the matching circuit comprising the capacitor and the inductor integrated with the dielectric antenna 1.
