PURPOSE: To improve the temperature dependency of a dielectric constant by laminating a metal layer on both surfaces of an ultra high polymer polyethylene(UHPE) porous material body.
CONSTITUTION: Metal layers 2 and 5 are laminated on both surfaces of a UHPE porous material having an box porosity by heating and pressing via adhesives 4 and 5. The metal layer 2 is a thin layer for forming a pattern as a transmission circuit and normally an aluminum foil, a copper foil and the like are used therefor. The metal layer 3 functions as a grounding body and normally a copper plate, a corrosion resistance plated steel plate, an aluminum plate and the like are used therefor. The aforesaid plates may be subjected to treatment including alumite treatment, chromate treatment and the like, in order to improving the bonding strength thereof with the UHPE porous material. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible not only to lower the dielectric constant, but also to reduce the fluctuation of the dielectric constant due to a temperature change.
