Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately adjust the resonance frequencies of a dielectric filter by providing at least two dielectric blocks having protruding parts for forming electric capacities at one edge parts in parallel. SOLUTION: Two dielectric blocks having protruding parts 3 and 4 and recessed parts 1c and 2c are integrally formed. Conductive materials are applied on the outer surfaces of the protruding parts 3 and 4 and terminal electrodes 10 and 11, the outer surfaces of separated bands 8 and 9, and the outer surfaces of holds 1d and 2d so that an outer conductor 5 can be formed. At the same time, the same conductive materials are applied the inner surfaces of the recessed parts 1c and 2c so that an inner conductor 6 can be formed. The protruding parts 3 and 4 are roughly cut by a grinder 14. Then, the resonance frequencies of a resonator are measured based on the dielectric block, and the protruding parts 3 and 4 are finely adjusted by the grinder 14 so that a dielectric filter having a desired capacity can be formed. An electric capacity 7 is formed between the inner conductor 6 on the inner deep edge faces of the recessed parts 1c and 2c and the projecting parts 3 and 4.
