To obtain a small-sized thin dielectric filter which is usable in a high-frequency band of ≥3 GHz.
A dielectric filter is constituted in such a way that three or more rectangular parallelepiped dielectric bodies 11-13 are joined to each other and island-like input-output electrodes 14 and 15 are formed on one surfaces of the dielectric bodies at the input and output ends. In addition, ground electrodes 16, 17, and 18 are formed on the surfaces of the dielectric bodies 11-13 except the circumferences of the electrodes 14 and 15 and the joining surfaces between the bodies 11-13. Consequently, the arrangement of the dielectric bodies 11-13 is bent, because the intermediate dielectric body 13 is joined to the adjacent dielectric bodies 11 and 12 by its adjacent end faces. A filter characteristic is obtained by coupling resonators with the joining surfaces, but the coupling can be adjusted by forming conductive films on the joining surfaces.
