Abstract:
To provide a technique that can heat both an ink containing carbon black and an ink not containing carbon black, which are attached to a medium, while preventing uneven heating.SOLUTION: A dielectric heating device is provided which heats a first ink containing carbon black and a second ink not containing carbon black, which are attached to a medium. The dielectric heating device comprises, as an electrode unit for heating the first ink and the second ink, a first electrode unit that has a first electrode and a second electrode facing the medium, and a first voltage application section that applies AC voltage with a frequency of 300 MHz or more and 300 GHz or less to the first electrode and the second electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
