Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain compsn. having a high dielectric constant and a high Q value in a high frequency region.
SOLUTION: This compsn. is based on a multiple oxide contg. at least Ba, Zn, Nb, W and Ta as metallic elements in a molar ratio represented by the formula aBaO.bZnO.cNb2O5.dWO3.eTa2O5 (where 0.40≤a≤0.70, 0.10≤b≤0.35, 0<c≤0.30, 0<d≤0.35, 0<e≤0.30, 0.16≤c+e≤0.31 and a+b+c+d+e=1.00) and contains Li or Li and B as metallic elements by 0.001-0.8wt.% each (expressed in terms of Li2CO3 and B2O3) based on the amt. of the multiple oxide.
