To provide a spherical tank skirt part made of aluminum for a LNG ship, which has sufficient strength for connecting a tank side structural member with a hull side structural member, can be manufactured with a simple structure at low cost, and reduce the cost and improve workability of maintenance and inspection.
The joint is equipped with a joint body 6 composing the tank skirt part 3 of the spherical tank 2 of the LNG ship, and consisting of two kinds of different members 4, 5 of aluminum or steel member, the tank side structural member 7 formed with aluminum member, and the hull side structural member 8 formed with steel member. The tank side structural member 7 and the hull side structural member 8 of different members are connected through the joint body 6 by providing either one of a plurality of recessed and projecting parts 9, 10 mutually fitted to jointing surfaces 4b, 5b of the different members 4, 5, mutually jointing the different members 4, 5 by fitting the recessed and projecting parts 9, 10 of the jointing surfaces 4b, 5b, and fixing by welding the tank side structural member 7 or the hull side structural member 8 with the different members 4, 5 of same materials.
