PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential communication device capable of achieving compatibility between surge countermeasure and electromagnetic noise countermeasure even in a case where a signal frequency flowing through a signal line is increased as in car-mounted Ethernet.SOLUTION: A differential communication apparatus 1 using a differential signal, includes: a connector 10 connected to an external signal line; a communication IC 20 connected to the connector 10 via a pair of signal lines; a common mode choke coil 30 provided on a pair of signal lines between the connector and the communication IC, and an electrostatic protection element 40 provided between each of the pair of signal lines between the common mode choke coil and the communication IC and a reference potential point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
