To provide a differential diagnosis method for Parkinson disease and multiple system atrophy.SOLUTION: A method for measuring abnormal α-synuclein associated with differential diagnosis of Parkinson disease and multiple system atrophy, comprises: introducing, into cultured cells that permanently express mutant α-synuclein, an RT-QuIC product against an anti-α-synuclein antibody reaction product in a blood sample derived from a subject as a seed; and measuring the density of aggregates in the cells.SELECTED DRAWING: None
