PURPOSE: To enable a stable continuous use of diffuser cone to be attained for a long period of time by a method wherein a ceramic member is bonded to a conical inner surface of a metallic diffuser cone.
CONSTITUTION: A ceramics member 4 having a superior heat-resistance and anticorrosion is connected to and fixed to a conical inner surface 2 corrosioned and damaged with harmful substances such as alkali, sulfur or sulfur compound, heavy metal, ashes or the like in fuel of a metallic diffuser cone 3 receiving directly radiation heat from combustion gas of high temperature. The ceramic member 4 is comprised of a single material of fine or porous material of nonoxide ceramics such as silicon nitride, sialon, silicon carbide, boron nitride and the like or complex material such as nonoxide ceramics such as boron nitride and silicon nitride or the like. With such an arrangement as above, the diffuser cone 1 can be used continuously form a long period of time in a stable manner.
