Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion film improved in mechanical strength, while keeping porosity of the film, when used in a form of a microporous film.
SOLUTION: This diffusion film includes the microporous sheet which contains a mixture of a polyolefin and a thermoplastic olefin (TPO) elastomer. The mixture contains the elastomer in an amount of <10 wt.%. The polyolefin is preferably selected from a group comprising polyethylene, polypropylene, a copolymer thereof, and a mixture thereof. The TPO elastomer is preferably selected from a group comprising ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR), ethylene- propylene-diene terpolymer rubber (EPDM), and a combination thereof.
