Title:
DIFFUSION TESTING METHOD RELATED TO CONTAMINANT FLOWING OUT OF SOLIDIFIED BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3878078
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an appropriate diffusion testing method for more accurately performing the quantitative evaluation of the elusion of contaminants from a solidified body.
SOLUTION: In the diffusion test where the specimen of the solidified body obtained by performing the insolubilization treatment of the contaminants is dipped into a solvent for necessary time to measure lapse time and the amount of change in the concentration of contaminants in the solvent, the lapse time and the amount of change in the concentration of the contaminants in the solvent are measured within an appropriate elution period in which average degree of elution F(t) that is ratio of the amount of contaminants flowing into the solvent when lapse time (t) passes after dipping the specimen into the solvent to the initial amount of contaminants initially contained in the specimen is regarded to be proportional to √t.
