Abstract:
To provide a digital access system that can enhance the effective communication rate of each subscriber channel.
A subscriber communication rate controller 4 is provided to at least either of a subscriber line accommodating station 1 and an inter-network connection station 3, the communication rate of each subscriber channel is monitored and the allowable communication rate of each subscriber channel on a relay channel is controlled in response to an idle capacity of the relay channel 2.
