To provide a camera for providing a guideline as to how a photographing function condition is to be revised on the basis of a battery residual capacity.

The digital camera which is equipped with a battery for outputting the battery residual capacity and includes a control section, a display section and a storage section, and in which the storage section selects and stores conditions for combining a plurality of photographing function conditions, and the control section photographs a picture depending on each photographing function condition of combined photographing function conditions stored in the storage section, is characterized in that the control section receives the battery residual capacity from the battery, obtains the number of photographable shots that can be photographed according to the battery residual capacity by a plurality of combined photographing function conditions wherein any setting of a plurality of the photographing function conditions differs from each other, and the display section displays a plurality of the combined photographing function conditions and the number of photographable shots depending on each combined photographing function condition.
