Abstract:
To provide a digital camera in which the presence of contamination is not conspicuous on a photographed image, even when the contamination adheres on the imaging surface of an imaging element.
The digital camera is provided with contamination detecting means for detecting contamination adhering on the imaging surface of the imaging device 16, and an exposure control means for controlling the exposure amount by a shutter 14 speed and a diaphragm 13. If the contamination detecting means detects the contamination, the value of the diaphragm 13 is shifted to an opening side.
