To provide a digital communication system capable of generating an output signal including information regarding the reception state of a reception signal with simple constitution without increasing costs.
The digital communication system comprises a receiver 3 which receives the reception signal including an audio signal from a radio transmission line; a demodulator decoder 4 which demodulates the reception signal, decodes the audio signal in the reception signal, and calculates a bit error rate (BER) of the radio transmission line; a first attenuator 5 which inputs the audio signal and bit error rate and attenuates the intensity of the audio signal according to the bit error rate; a noise generator 6 which generates an additional noise signal to be added to the audio signal; a second attenuator 7 which inputs the additional noise signal and bit error rate and attenuates the intensity of the additional noise signal according to the bit error rate; and an adder 8 which adds outputs of the first attenuator 5 and second attenuator 7 to each other and outputs an output signal.
