Abstract:
To provide a digital content providing system which can reduce the occurrence of individual's buying-up of digital content without providing an upper limit to the quantity owned.SOLUTION: In a network system, a digital content providing server 100 selects a digital content of which the quantity is smaller than a stock quantity being a quantity obtained by subtracting a provided quantity from a provision available quantity, at random from a storage device in which digital contents of which the provision available quantities are managed so as to be a prescribed quantity are stored, and presents the selected digital content to a user terminal 200 in a prescribed provision period, and in response to a provision request for the presented digital content from the user terminal 200, provides the user terminal 200 with the digital content relating to the provision request. When the user terminal 200 of one user makes a provision request for a digital content, a provision request for the digital content relating to that provision request from a user terminal 200 of another user is not accepted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
