PURPOSE: To enable to control alarm or the like relating to the display value, by using the control signal illuminating the specific segment among each segment displaying the car speed or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The display unit 1 of speedometer has the display 1a of 1-segment displaying the digit of 100, and displays 1b, 1c of 7-segments respectively displaying the digits of 10 and 1. It is only when the car speed is not less than 100km/h that the display 1a is illuminated. Accordingly, the driver circuit 2 outputs the signal (a) illuminating the display 1a only with the speed of 100km/h or more. When this signal (a) is given to the alarm display unit 3 and speed alarm unit 4, the alarm is displayed and alarmed with chime. Further, by using the specific segment control signal, the door can automatically be locked with the car speed at the specified value or more.
