Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a digital filter processor which can perform the real-time procesing at a high speed.
CONSTITUTION: This processor inputs the image data (x, y) on a screen and peforms the filter procesing in every group of data (x, y) corresponding to plural areas of fixed sizes of the screen. The data (x, y) are successively inputted in time series and multiplied in sequence by the filter coefficient (one of α00, α01... αuv) corresponding to the data (x, y) (S1). These multiplication results are not temporarily stored and accumulated in sequence in every preceding group, and these accumulation results are outputted (S2 and S3).
