Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a noise component by arranging an adaptive filter to an intermediate frequency stage.
SOLUTION: An input analog signal is sampled by a sampling frequency fs by a multiple of 4 of a carrier frequency fc. A demultiplexer 11 demultiplexes received data sequentially into four systems as four zero carrier signals whose frequency and amplitude are equal to each other but whose phases only differ from each other. The zero carrier signals are delayed by delay circuits 12-15 and the results are fed to adaptive filters 16-19. A multiplexer 22 multiplexes sequentially output data from the four adaptive filters 16-19 into one signal. A difference between the 1st zero carrier signal and the output of the 1st adaptive filter 16 is obtained to select a tap coefficient of the adaptive filters 16-19 based on the difference according to the LSM algorithm.
