Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an information limited in copying from remaining on a medium for a long time by repeating temporary recording and to prevent the information from being copied on recording media of more than an allowable number.
SOLUTION: When a copy control information indicates the permission of temporary recording having a specified time limit, a control information indicating no permission of temporary recording is added and recorded on the recording medium. Besides, when copying the information limited in copying, a recording device and a number of recording media are detected and the information is recorded on the media within the allowable number.
