Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a data which is converted by a desired conversion characteristic by converting an inputted digital data to a new data being proportional to said data, when said data is a data being within a prescribed range, and converting said data to a new date based on a prescribed function and outputting it, when said data is outside of the prescribed range, by a signal processing means. CONSTITUTION:When a digital data inputted from an input terminal 1a is a data being within a prescribed range corresponding to a numerical value (p), a signal processing means 1 denotes this digital data as (x) and converts it to a new digital data, based on a functions shown by f(x)=kx. When said data is smaller than the prescribed range, and when it is smaller, it is converted to new digital data, based on function expressed by f(X)=aXx<3>+bx<2>+cx+d, and f(x)=ax<3>-bx<2>-cx-d, respectively, and outputted from an output terminal 1b, respectively. Such a characteristic increases a sound volume sense on an aural sense, and even in case of a sound whose level is low, the sound volume is heard loud. Also, an acoustic signal by which a distortion on the aural sense and noise are inconspicuous is obtained.
