CONSTITUTION: The analog video signal is divided into the digital signals of plural channels containing the new synchronous signal and the error correction code, etc. and then supplied to plural magnetic heads 1AW1D. These signals are then recorded in the form of plural adjacent tracks 2AW2D so that the azimuth angles may be different between the adjacent tracks and that no guard band may exist. Said digital signals of plural channels receive a format conversion into the digital codes having the reduced low-range spectrum and is then converted into the serial signal to be suitably supplied to the magnetic plural heads.
